The music was so fast it felt like I was listening to a fast-paced 8-bit action game, while the character voices sound like chipmunks talking as fast as they can (shut up Alvin). When I first launched the game, every sound was sped up to extremes.
TL DR: If your sound sounds like Alvin+the Chipmunks, here's the fix (WINDOWS 10): Right-click little speaker on right side of taskbar->playback devices->->Properties->Advanced->Default Format->16-bit, 44100Hz (CD Quality) (or whatever is lowest, ****ing WB games)
